No Barbados this summer, I'm afraid! the betaspy family will be attempting a glamorous, preppy, Cape Cod-style beach holiday - but on a windswept, soggy English beach with lashings and lashings of miserable summer rain. Whoopee!!!
I'm seriously going to need a holiday sans famille when I get back. Anyone up for a spa weekend? Who wants to come with me to Grayshott Hall?!

Ah I was going to be jealous until I read that you were holidaying in the UK. No need to be jealous then. Still have lots of fun with the windbreakers and the crunchy sandy sandwiches on the beach!

Ms R does not think of herself as a multi tasker but has recently managed to wax her legs with warm wax and deal with BT on the telephone simulataneously.

I've been to Grayshott Hall with a friend - ages ago.
We had a wonderful time (the treatments are really good), and the other guests are so ancient that it makes you feel really young!
How I do love checking my emails, You guys have me in stitches, honestly.
Which I need, as it has been raining ceaselessly since we arrived - England is so beautiful, but how much more lovely would it be with just a teensy, weensy bit of sunshine? Is that TOO much to ask!!!!!!! (Reaches for dry towel and her second gin and tonic)

Dear Posh Mum,
I know that Jerzy can't be trusted to do all the school uniform shopping and name tape stitching himself but I do think you need to be aware that you are neglecting your readers who are desperate to hear about your holiday. Especially those of us who work from home and check here on many mornings when looking for displacement activity and need to be kept up to date with What Really Matters.
